Queen Latifah

Dana Elaine Owens - better known to the public as Queen Latifah, is an American actress, rapper and acrobat. Her work as a music actor, filmmaker and TV performer has garnered the actress two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Image Awards. She also received a Grammy Award and six other Grammy nominations. Queen Latifah's parents are Lancelot as well as Rita Owens, both Police officers. Rita was a Newark New Jersey teacher, who was a teacher the class at Irvington High School. The couple divorced when Latifah was age of 10 years old. Latifah was a student at a Catholic school and received her education within Newark New Jersey. She went to in the Baptist church.
